Welcome to Blue Eyed Hanna, my name is Hannelie. I am a creative makeup artist that uses makeup in it's various forms to express emotions and individuality. Makeup is truly a art form for me and a true form of expression. I fell in love with the art of makeup as a 14 year old and have worked hard on the craft for 9 years . With every makeup look I learn new skills, tricks and tactics to bring my creative ideas to life.

Creative Make-up

Creative make-up looks have a deeper meaning. I love capturing moments, emotions and characters in a makeup look and bringing it to life. I experiment a lot and I am always trying new mediums to create these types of looks. Creative looks like these really transforms the face and the viewer can interpret the makeup how ever they see fit.

Character Make-up

Character makeup is one of my favorite makeup looks. I love researching characters and bringing them to life with makeup, hair, costume and other accessories. This makeup look is based on a character I invented called Freya. Freya is a pixie fairy. I based the design off of the pixie fairy concept from a folklore of southwestern England. It is said that the pixie fairies favorite pastime is to lead travelers astray and to frighten young maidens. They have mischievous spirits and are elf-like beings.

Special Effects Make-up

I love using special effects makeup to reinvent a person. I have studied many tv shows, movies and series that make use of special effects. My hope and dream is that my skills will grow and I will be able to work in the film industry.

Graphic Liner Make-up

Graphic liner makeup looks are very unique and often makes use of intricate designs to draw the eye to the desired part of the face. Symmetry plays a really important role in this type of makeup design. By adding edgy graphic liner you can take a normal eye-shadow look to another level.
